Victor Lindelof, Danny Drinkwater and Juan Foyth: The multi-million pound stars who have yet to make Premier League debut

The new Premier League season is in full swing and while some new additions have dazzled some are still waiting for their time to shine

THE PREMIER LEAGUE is seven games in and the two Manchester teams are fighting at the top and are yet to record a loss.

New signings Romelu Lukaku and Alvaro Morata have hit the ground running at their new clubs scoring seven and six league goals respectively so far - but not all new additions have found their feet so easily.

Victor Lindelof

Manchester United dropped a whopping £30million to bring the Swedish defender to Old Trafford but he his yet to make an appearance in the Premier League.

He has however featured three times for his new club across the Champions League and Carabao Cup but looked a little nervy.

It appears Mourinho does not yet trust the youngster to partner Eric Bailly in the backfield and instead has opted for Phil Jones.

The 23-year-old is adamant he is happy at his new home and understands the process - a similar process Mourinho used with Henrikh Mkhitaryan last season which allowed him to acclimatise to life in a new country and a new league.

Danny Drinkwater

The 27-year-old midfielder completed a shock £35m switch from Leicester to Chelsea on deadline day, but he is still waiting to make his Blues debut.

Drinkwater had to watch from the sidelines as an unused substitute as Chelsea beat his former club 2-1 in the second game of the season.

Following the game he picked up a calf injury in training that has kept him out of action.

Antonio Conte is hopeful the midfielder will make his debut after the international break and become an important player for his rotation.

Juan Foyth

Mauricio Pochettino bagged the 19-year-old Argentina Under-21 international from his home country for £8m.

Despite securing a regular place in the Estudiantes first team, Foyth is yet to do the same in London - seen more as a long-term investment.

The youngster has a single appearance for Tottenham which came in the Carabao Cup win over Barnsley.

His best chance of Premier League play would come if Alderweireld, Sanchez or Vertonghen picked up an injury.

Aleksandar Dragovic

Leicester picked up the Austrian centre-half on a season-long loan from Bayer Leverkusen.

Dragovic moved to the Premier League with a wealth of experience having picked up 10 trophies during stints in Austria, Switzerland and Ukraine.

But the 26-year-old isn't in Craig Shakespeare's plans at the moment with just a single outing in the League Cup win over Liverpool.

Will Hughes

Watford coughed up £8m to give Hughes the chance to play in the Premier League after six seasons at Derby County in the Championship.

Marco Silva's side have had a decent start to the season but so far that hasn't included the 22-year-old midfielder on the pitch.

He has been an unused sub twice but has appeared in the Carabao Cup.

Willy Caballero

Antonio Conte signed the former Manchester City keeper to provide competition for the Blues' first choice Thibaut Courtois following the departure of Asmir Begovic.

Courtois has so far kept his starting job and Caballero will likely only get a shot if the Belgian picks up an injury.

Jan Bednarek

The 21-year-old Polish defender signed a five-year deal with Southampton from Lech Poznan but looks to be more of an investment for the future.

He was on the bench for the first two games of the season but the return of Virgil van Dijk saw him drop out.
