TAMMY ABRAHAM bagged a double at the Liberty Stadium to earn Swansea a first home win of the season.

The Chelsea loanee struck either side of half time as City made Huddersfield pay for their mistakes.

Swansea came within an ace of taking the lead in the ninth minute when Abraham’s strike was brilliantly saved by Jonas Lossl.

Huddersfield’s first real chance came at the end of the first quarter. Unfortunately, after sweeping inside Kyle Naughton, Elias Kuchunga fired straight at Lukas Fabianski.

Their second should have broken the deadlock.

Tom Ince got on the end of Rajiv van la Parra’s cross but blasted over from six yards.

Swansea took the lead three minutes from the interval, in bizarre fashion.

Town keeper Lossl inexplicably passed the ball straight to Tom Carroll whose cross was side-footed home by Abraham.

Swansea doubled their lead two minutes after the interval thanks to Abraham.

The Chelsea starlet latched on to Jordan Ayew’s chip and scored from barely a yard.

To make matters worse for Huddersfield boss David Wagner, Philip Billing was stretchered off on the hour.

Sub Ki Sung-Yueng saw his fierce strike fizz a yard wide with 12 minutes left.
