January Blues

January’s Premier League fixtures have been announced and include a New Year’s Eve clash between West Ham and Tottenham

In order to beat the January blues, Premiership bosses have released a list of 16 fixtures between the top-flight clubs.

PREMIER LEAGUE fixtures over the festive season caused a huge furore earlier this year, when fans and clubs protested at the Christmas Eve fixtures

But premiership bosses have now revealed the fixtures for early 2018 and which games will be broadcast on UK television.

Sky have the rights to the double headers on both New Year's Eve and New Year's Day which will see Tottenham host West Ham at 2.15pm and West Brom host Arsenal at 4:30pm, on Super Sunday.

Which then leaves revellers time to celebrate or commiserate before the New Year's day lunchtime south-coast clash between Brighton and Bournemouth, followed by Everton versus Manchester United at 5.30pm.

They continue to broadcast the action into the first week of the new year with Swansea versus Tottenham and the second London derby, in a week, where Arsenal host Chelsea.

BT Sport kick off the new year televising Tottenham versus Everton on Saturday, 13 before broadcasting  table-toppers Manchester City versus Newcastle on Saturday, January 20.
