The Brazilian forward replaced Sergio Aguero after 65 minutes at the Etihad, and made an instant impact.

After Alexandre Lacazette pulled one back for the Gunners, Jesus put the game to bed with a strike from close range.

He now boasts a phenomenal record of 14 goals in 20 appearances in the English top-flight.

This puts him just ahead of City's all-time top scorer Aguero, who averages one goal every 107 minutes.
