Swansea vs Tottenham team news: Hugo Lloris struck down with illness so Michel Vorm starts against former club

Tottenham look to continue their late title challenge away to strugglers Swansea but will have to do it without their goalkeeper

TOTTENHAM added Victor Wanyama and goalkeeper Hugo Lloris to their already painful injury list which includes Harrys Kane and Winks and Danny Rose.

And Swansea's relegation-fighting campaign took a hit when it was confirmed star striker Fernando Llorente was ruled out.

Both sides need a win to keep their very different dreams alive and both are up against it with busy medical rooms with Lloris ruled out through illness and replaced by Michel Vorm.

Opponents Swansea also have injury problems and could only pick up a point at home to Middlesbrough on Sunday.

Michel Vorm was rushed in to start in goal as a late replacement for Hugo Lloris who was taken sick. Harry Winks is out after suffering a horrific ankle injury at Burnley, and Victor Wanyama is also out after also going off injured during the match.

Mauricio Pochettino said of Winks after Saturday's win: "He is in hospital now, doing scans. Now we need to wait."

Harry Kane, Danny Rose and Erik Lamela also remain on the treatment table.
