Bravo and Sanchez both featured in the Confederations Cup final together this summer, and now the keeper is urging his compatriot to join him in the Premier League.

That's not the only relationship the Arsenal forward will be renewing either, as boss Pep Guardiola managed Alexis at Barcelona.

Pep is keen on getting the striker on board at City, after registering his interest on several occasions.

Alexis has expressed his desire to play Champions League football, which the Manchester club can provide him.

The Chilean star was even reportedly willing to take a pay cut to get to the Etihad Stadium, showing just how much it means to him.

After having two bids rejected from the North London club, reports claim Paris Saint-Germain dropped their interest in Sanchez, due to his desire to join City.

The deal won't be simple though, as Arsene Wenger has repeatedly reiterated that the player will not be sold.

Wenger announced that Alexis was expected to return to training on Sunday, until he posted a picture of himself on Instagram claiming to be 'sick'.

Guardiola may have to wait another year for Sanchez' contract to expire to finally get his hands on the 28-year-old.

Recruiting Sanchez could complete a formidable Manchester City attack.

The Chilean would link up with new signings Bernardo Silva, Benjamin Mendy, Kyle Walker, Danilo and goalkeeper Ederson.

City have already smashed the Premier League record for most money spent in one transfer window, as their total reaches an astonishing £219m.

They may not even be done there, as Guardiola announced that the Manchester club have the financial power to match Real Madrid, in the race for 18-year-old starlet Kylian Mbappe.
