Manchester City midfielder Fernando reveals the club are trying to sell him this summer, despite loan offers coming in
Brazilian former Porto man also claims Galatasaray are one club willing to spend big to bring him to Turkey this window
MANCHESTER CITY midfielder Fernando has revealed the club are trying to sell him this summer, despite loan offers coming in.
The Brazilian midfielder, 30, has also claimed Galatasaray are one club willing to spend big to bring him to Turkey this window.
However, Fernando did add that a move away from the Etihad Stadium is not necessarily in his own best interests
According to Portuguese outlet Diario de Noticias, former Porto man Fernando said: "I have several loan options but City want to sell.
"That's why it's difficult because I only have a year left on my contract.
"The club that has offered money for me is Galatasaray, but what is good for City may not be good for me."
Fernando joined Man City back in 2014 and quickly became an integral part of the Etihad midfield - making 49 appearances in the Premier League in his first two seasons.
However, last year, he took on more of a bit-part role under Pep Guardiola, even filling in at right-back for many of his minutes on the pitch.
