Neymar ‘begs Liverpool ace Philippe Coutinho to snub Barcelona and join him at Paris Saint-Germain’
Brazil international team-mates have been good friends since age of 14 and latter is expected to be replacement for former
NEYMAR is trying to convince Philippe Coutinho to snub Barcelona and join him at Paris Saint-Germain, according to reports in Catalonia.
The pair have been good friends since they were 14 and the latter is expected to replace the former after he completes his sensational move to France.
However, Sport report that, despite Coutinho having told Liverpool he wants to leave to join Barcelona, he has been inundated with WhatsApp messages from his pal pleading with him to sign for PSG instead.
Which, ironically, is a similar tactic Neymar had previously employed in an attempt to get him to join the Nou Camp giants.
After the pre-season Clasico in Miami, the 25-year-old spent 15 minutes in the Real Madrid dressing room in what was an apparent goodbye to his former rivals.
The deal is so close that PSG are reported to be already preparing his unveiling.
Long-term Barcelona target Coutinho is expected to arrive as a replacement for his international team-mate — despite Neymar’s efforts.

Liverpool had hoped to keep their star man, but appear resigned to the inevitable.
Jurgen Klopp is likely to be able to call on him for at least the first Champions League preliminary qualifying leg.
The Reds will still need to overcome a double-header to reach the group stage of Europe’s premier competition.
And, should Coutinho play any part, he will not be cup-tied and would still be expected to make the move to Catalonia.
