Kylian Mbappe shares snap with Manchester City star Leroy Sane… as Monaco star heads to England for promo shoot with sponsor Nike

Teenage star continues to be linked with massive move away from Ligue 1 champions and only increased speculation by travelling to the North West

KYLIAN MBAPPE is in Manchester and has been hanging out with one of Manchester City star players.

But unfortunately for fans of United and City, the 18-year-old is on his way to England for a promo shoot with sponsor Nike.

That hasn't stopped some fans from wondering if the star, who helped Monaco win Ligue 1 and reach the semi-finals of the Champions League last season, could be set for more talks with Pep Guardiola.

The Man City boss held talks with Mbappe last month in an effort to convince the prodigious star that the Etihad is the best place for his talents to develop.

Mbappe, who scored 26 goals last season, is linked with a £160million move away from the Stade Louis II.

Real Madrid have long been admirers, but Barcelona are also interested after losing Neymar to Paris Saint-Germain.

And the clubs chasing Mbappe were handed a boost by Monaco manager Leonardo Jardim after he said that Mbappe,  well as Fabinho and Thomas Lemar, are all available for the right place.

Jardim said: "It’s important to keep all of the players who were important last season at the club.

"But down the years it has been shown that it is not always possible to keep hold of your players and you know how our project works.

"Therefore, our objective is to work with the players that are still here when the transfer window closes."

Despite already spending more than £200m this summer, Pep refused to rule out a move for Mbappe.

He said two weeks ago: "The player is still at Monaco, still on that team.

"Anything can happen – we are still looking at other players in the market. There are a lot of other players, but he is still on that team.

"We have two exceptional forwards in Gabriel and Sergio. We will see. Unfortunately the market finishes on August 31.

"We will see if we do something. I think other clubs will sign many players."

There was an injury scare for Mbappe as Monaco started the defence of their Ligue 1 title on Friday night.

The striker injured his knee late on in the 3-2 win over Toulouse - but manager Leonardo Jardim later said it was not as bad as first feared.

Jardim said Mbappe would be fine in "two or three days".
