Tottenham 2 Juventus 0: Goals from Harry Kane and Christian Eriksen sealed comfortable victory for Mauricio Pochettino’s side at Wembley
Mauricio Pochettino's men proved to be too classy for the Serie A champions as they won just their third game in 11 at their new home
TOTTENHAM made a mockery of their 'Wembley curse' as they demolished Juventus 2-0 at their temporary home.
Goals from Harry Kane and Christian Eriksen sealed the win for Spurs against the Serie A champions - just their third in their last 11 games at the Home of Football.
It took just ten minutes for Spurs to make the breakthrough in the International Champions Cup clash, with Kane making no mistake with the first chance of the game.
The lethal hitman diverted his header into the top left corner beyond the diving arms of Gianluigi Buffon after a cross from Kieran Trippier.
Just two minutes later Eriksen had an effort saved that was creeping in towards the bottom left corner, before Paulo Dybala blazed over an effort from outside the box.
The Old Lady were looking dangerous as the half went on, with Sami Khedira seeing a header go just wide, before Gonzalo Higuain had his strike saved by Hugo Lloris from an acute angle.
Moussa Sissoko then believed he had doubled his side's lead, but his curling effort struck the inside of the post and somehow stayed out.
Then came the injury that Spurs fans would have been dreading, Trippier being forced off through injury in the 41st minute, clutching his knee as he limped off the pitch with the help of the physio.
