CRISTIANO RONALDO nearly crocked himself ahead of tonight's Super Cup clash with old club Manchester United after slipping as he left the Real Madrid team bus in Macedonia.
The Galacticos star, 32, took a tumble on his arrival in baking hot Skopje, but narrowly avoided an embarrassing faceplant as he regained his footing.
Portuguese star Ronaldo is expected to start the clash with former employers United in the annual European curtain-raiser.
CR7 is yet to turn out for Zinedine Zidane's Madrid this summer after taking an extended break following the Confederations Cup.
But he looks set to start against Man United, the team he left for a then-world record £80million back in 2009.
Romelu Lukaku is set to start up top with Marcus Rashford also getting the nod from boss Jose Mourinho.
Gareth Bale – who Mourinho hinted he wants to sign for United – is also looking likely to start for Zinedine Zidane.
