PHILIPPE COUTINHO is said to be undertaking a "training protest" at Liverpool as he tries to force his £100million move to Barcelona, according to Yahoo Sports.

The Brazil international, 25, has told Kop boss Jurgen Klopp he wishes to leave Anfield this summer to be Neymar's replacement.

And now, Coutinho is reportedly acting lazily in training as he bids to force the German chief's hand.

A source said: “Coutinho is doing little in training. He wants to ensure he gets his move.”

The "Little Magician" had claimed he wanted to leave Liverpool, but only if a deal "can be done amicably".

Barcelona have reportedly had a host of bids turned down for the Reds star, including £72m bid last month.

Sky Sport reporter Kaveh Solhekol said: “Philippe Coutinho would like to move to Barcelona if deal can be done amicably with Liverpool.

"[He] would only leave Liverpool for Barcelona.

“Liverpool say Coutinho is not for sale. Barcelona have not contacted LFC since £72m offer was firmly and immediately rejected 18 days ago.”

The La Liga giants have been hoping to entice Klopp into selling his star, including adding Andre Gomes into the deal, in a player-plus-cash move.

However, Liverpool have until now been adamant Coutinho would be going nowhere, with Barcelona reportedly lining up another bid of around £120m.

Coutinho joined Liverpool from Inter Milan in January 2013 for just £8.5m.

The Brazilian has gone on to make 138 Premier League appearances, scoring 34 goals - including a season-best haul of 13 strikes last season alone.

The Reds ace has also earned 27 international caps, including captaining his country for the game against Australia earlier this year.
