Alberto Moreno’s Liverpool nightmare could be ended by Sevilla as former side prepare to re-sign left-back on one-year loan deal
Spanish left-back made just ten Premier League appearances last season and could now be heading back to city of his birth
SEVILLA are reportedly ready to rescue Alberto Moreno from his Liverpool nightmare by re-signing the defender on a loan deal.
Moreno swapped Andalusia for Anfield in 2014 but struggled to adapt to the pace of the Premier League.
The 25-year-old made just ten appearances throughout last season’s domestic campaign, with Jurgen Klopp preferring experienced midfielder James Milner at left-back.

And with Andrew Robertson arriving from relegated Hull, it appears Moreno’s days at Liverpool are numbered.
However, the Spain international could yet be in luck as boyhood club Sevilla hover in the background.
TMW claims the La Liga giants are interested in bringing Moreno back to the city of his birth.
And new boss Eduardo Berizzo could be set to launch a loan move after seeing Sevilla’s long-term left-back Benoit Tremoulinas quit on a free transfer in May.
Liverpool have made it clear they would rather sell any misfit first-teamers, with Klopp’s refusal to loan Mamadou Sakho a prime example.

But Sevilla are apparently ready to include a clause which will make the deal permanent next summer if a number of stipulations are met.
Moreno is sure to jump at the prospect of returning home if the opportunity presents itself.
But the final decision is sure to rest with Klopp, who may yet decide he needs extra numbers in his squad to deal with the return of Champions League football.
