Liverpool winger Sheyi Ojo set to join Fulham on loan with Derby, Aston Villa and Middlesbrough missing out
Cottagers hope England Under-20 star's pace and trickery in wide areas can help them land automatic promotion spot
FULHAM are set to take Liverpool winger Sheyi Ojo on loan.
The 20-year-old's future has been up in the air recently.
And Ojo has made his choice after considering all his options after Jurgen Klopp decided he would benefit from a temporary spell away from Anfield.
The youngster had plenty of suitors: other Championship clubs in Middlesbrough, Derby and Aston Villa also wanted him.
Ojo was in London last week for talks with the Cottagers and has now given them the thumbs up.
It seems Slavisa Jokanovic is prepared to give Ojo the kind of regular first-team football Klopp believes is vital for his development.
Happily, Ojo was in such demand following his success with England at the Under-20's World Cup in South Korea in June.
That allowed him to end the season on a happy note.
For earlier in the year he was hampered by a stress fracture in his back.

That meant he made just one start and one substitute outing for Klopp’s side.
Ohjo joined the Reds from MK Dons in 2011 for £2million.
He has had previous loan spells at Wigan Athletic and Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Fulham were defeated by Reading in the Championship play-off semi-final last season and are eager to go one better this time.
