JAMIE CARRAGHER claims he has been asked to star in I'm A Celebrity . . . Get Me Out of Here!
The Liverpool legend shared an email he received, which asks whether he would consider going on the hit ITV show.
The message reads: "Jay, I'm pretty sure this is going to be a no mate but didn't want someone to say they had tried contacting you and I hadn't told you.
"ITV have been in touch to see if you would consider going into 'I'm a Celeb . . . Get Me Out of Here'.
"I'm pretty sure it would be impossible with your work schedule.
"Let me know and I'll get back to them."
Carragher, 39, captioned the tweet: "Finally!!!!"
Should the Sky Sports pundit agree to wade into the jungle, he could join the likes of England and Leicester Wag Rebekah Vardy, and reality TV regular Calum Best - son of legendary Manchester United star George - who are rumoured to go on this year.

The new I'm A Celeb! series is likely to start in November and end in December.
The popular ITV1 reality series - hosted by Ant and Dec - sees 12 celebrities live together in the Australian jungle for around three weeks.
They have no luxuries and compete to be crowned jungle king or queen.
Past footballers to have gone on the show include Jimmy Bullard and John Fashanu, while former Towie star Mark Wright - who played semi-pro for Southend before his TV break - featured in 2011.
