Liverpool vs Crystal Palace: What time does Premier League game kick off, what TV channel is it on and what is team news?

All the information you need ahead of this Premier league tie at Anfield.

LIVERPOOL chief Jurgen Klopp will seek a home victory against weak Crystal Palace after midweek's heroics in Europe.

The feisty German will be eager to start Liverpool's home campaign with a win,  no doubt seeing the wounded Crystal Palace as the perfect chance to do so.

Their 3-3 draw at Watford will also act as extra motivation, with 2 goals scored from corners, perfectionist Klopp will be sure to improve their controversial zonal marking system, ironing out any sloppy defending.

The Reds are likely to lineup with a 433 system, with the adventurous front 3 of Mane, Firmino and Salah. The speedy attackers all capable of causing problems for the back 3 of Palace, who conceded 3 against Huddersfield last Saturday. The combination of lethal attacks and high intensity Gegenpressing looks to smother the opponents, stopping any possession play.

Fans will no doubt have confidence at home after last season, with a 3-1 win over Arsenal being one of the highlights.

Young right-back Trent Alexander-Arnold will be in high spirits after his free-kick on Tuesday, the confident Liverpudlian stepped up to the delight of his manager who praised his hunger and desire.

However, Philippe Coutinho is still linked with an alleged move away to Barcelona, the Brazilian maestro is unlikely to play, and fans may need to accept life without their star man.

The away side Crystal Palace are also missing a key player, Wilfred Zaha picked up an injury last Saturday, in the Eagles' loss to Huddersfield.

New manager Frank De Boer, attempted to introduce a new exciting philosophy to South London, however his plans backfired with a humiliating defeat, leaving fans shocked at the complete rout on show.

The trendy 343 is paired with exciting players like Timothy Fosu-Mensah and Ruben Loftus-Cheek but the back 3 are sure to struggle against the explosive forward 3 of Liverpool.

The game itself looks to be an entertaining one, with Liverpool clear favourites an annihilation could be on the cards, but don't write off the new thrilling young lineup of Palace, with target man Christian Benteke leading the line.

Team news

Crystal Palace winger Wilfried Zaha is expected to miss a month after damaging his right knee against Huddersfield. The winger appeared to walk off any pain during the game but needed a knee brace after the game. A return for mid-September is likely.

With De Boer low on attacking options, Andros Townsend could start in his place. Yohan Cabaye played for the Under-23s in midweek so could also feature in the side.

Philippe Coutinho, fresh from handing in a transfer request, could return for Liverpool from a back injury should Klopp feel he is capable in both fitness and mentality, however ongoing talks may prevent this.

Furthermore, Nathaniel Clyne and Daniel Sturridge are unlikely to be risked, although they are available following injury.
