Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino reveals he wants FOUR new signings – with the window slamming shut in just two weeks
Spurs the only Premier League side yet to sign a player this summer
TOTTENHAM manager Mauricio Pochettino has revealed he wants FOUR new signings before the transfer window shuts in just two weeks.
Spurs are the only team in the Premier League not to have added to their squad this summer.
A number of deals are inching closer to completion, with Ajax defender Davinson Sanchez, Celta Vigo midfielder Pape Cheikh Diop, Southampton No 2 Paulo Gazzaniga and unwanted Everton man Ross Barkley all strongly linked with moves to north London.
Poch said: "I want four players if possible but it is not easy.
"We need time to work We always sign three or four, every season.
"It's important to try to assess the players who have possibility to come.
"We are a very strong group, and we create good habits and philosophy. It's not easy for us to sign the right profile.
"But easy for players to come to Tottenham, because good people will come. Most important thing is trying to be right in the players we sign for the future of the club."
