Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho leaves the team bus at home… as he and his squad jet off to play SWANSEA

MANCHESTER UNITED boss Jose Mourinho has left the team bus at home... as his squad jet off to play Swansea this weekend.

The Portuguese chief opted to fly his pampered stars the 147-mile to South Wales, despite it taking just four hours to drive.

United take on the Welsh outfit at the Liberty Stadium in the weekend's first Premier League game at 12.30pm on Saturday.

However, rather than jumping on the bus, charging up the iPods and bringing a deck of cards, Mourinho has opted to fly - for a flight time of little over half an hour.

United got their season off to a flyer at home, after thumping West Ham 4-0 at home to West Ham.

They will now hope to keep that form up away from Old Trafford as they jet down to Swansea.

Meanwhile, the Swans slipped to a drab draw away to Southampton in their Premier League season-opener.

Romelu Lukaku will hope to keep the hosts on their toes after his impressive league debut, knowing Swansea have never kept a clean sheet against United in 12 attempts.

🤔THE ANALYST: Swansea v Man United betting preview🤔

By Danny Higginbotham, THE ANALYST

YES, Romelu Lukaku is going to score bags of goals. But because of him, so will Paul Pogba - starting with the trip to Swansea.

Lukaku loves to play on the shoulder and, if I was playing against him, the first thing I'd do is drop deep.

As my graphic shows, all of a sudden the space between the opposition defence and midfield gets bigger.

And I fully expect to see the likes of Pogba exploiting the extra room and scoring from outside the box, like he did against West Ham.

However, he will be up against Alfie Mawson in the heart of the hosts' defence in one of the game's key battles.
