MARCUS RASHFORD has found himself the target of the Swansea boo-boys who claim he dived to win a penalty against them last season.

England star Rashford was jeered every time he touched the ball by Swans fans still fuming at the way he tumbled to the ground to earn a penalty last season.

United were awarded a penalty which Wayne Rooney scored in a 1-1 draw at Old Trafford in April.

Swansea were fuming at the time for the way Rashford went over without being touched by goalkeeper Lukasz Fabianski in a match being screened live on BT Sport.

Former Chelsea star Chris Sutton refused to hold back in his criticism of the young striker.

Sutton told the BBC: “Rashford dived for the penalty, that's simulation and a really poor decision. And really poor from Rashford.

“Never a penalty in a million years.”

And ex-referee Graham Poll watched the replay in the BT Sport studios and explained how Rashford had conned official Neil Swarbrick into handing United the lead.

Poll said: “There's no intent, he's pulled his hands away, he's read the situation.”
