Manchester City stars Kyle Walker and John Stones shun supercars to drive to training together in a £5k classic Mini

KYLE WALKER and John Stones kept it real by rolling up to Manchester City training in an old Mini.

The England stars are paid a combined wage of an incredible £250,000 a week.

No doubt the duo have plush sports cars sat in the garages of their Cheshire mansions.

But that did not stop them having a laugh in a £5,000 motor that they could buy around 50 of between them every week.

Stones was spotted driving Walker in the modest motor as they arrived at City's Etihad campus ahead of Saturday's trip to Bournemouth.

And Walker, who left Spurs in a £50million deal earlier this summer to sign a £150,000-a-week contract at City, shared a video on Instagram.

The right-back is not available for the trip to the Vitality after getting sent off in the 1-1 draw against Everton on Monday.

But he looked in fine spirits as he shared the video that the past and present team-mates Jan Vertonghen and Benjamin Mendy both commented on - neither of which made much sense.

Walker and Stones were both also named in Gareth Southgate's England squad for September's World Cup qualifiers against Malta and Slovakia.

Another reason for cheer might have been City's cushy Champions League draw - where they avoided all the big guns.

Napoli will provide the hardest test, with Pep Guardiola’s side also drawn against Shakhtar Donestk and Feyenoord in Group F .
