RAHEEM STERLING scored two minutes after injury time was due to finish and was SENT OFF for celebrating his controversial winner.
The Manchester City star - who netted a late equaliser against Everton last weekend - popped up again with a crucial 97th-minute goal as his side came from behind to win.
But with Mike Dean allowing five minutes extra on top of the scheduled five minutes of added time, Bournemouth boss Eddie Howe will be raging at the result.
The home fans in the crowd of around 11,000 at Dean Court were far happier when Charlie Daniels scored a world class goal in the first half to ignite the match.
The midfielder let rip with a ferocious first-time left foot shot that rocketed across the face of goal and into the opposite top corner of the net.
It was Bournemouth’s first goal of the season but it wasn't enough to give them their first point of the season.
Gabriel Jesus cancelled out the screamer after being played in by David Silva in the 22nd minute.
City dominated possession and carved out chance after chance as they took pot shots at Asmir Begovic’s goal, especially in the second half.

Defender Nicolas Otamendi hit the post with a header and new man Bernardo Silva should have done better 12 minutes into the second half from Kevin De Bruyne’s piercing run and cross.
Silva was replaced by striker Sergio Aguero with 24 minutes left as City chased a vital away win, with the brooding Argentine having surprisingly been benched by Guardiola.

Shaven-headed Silva had showed quick thinking to pick out Jesus on a run into the area from a free kick and fed him the ball.
Jesus turned Nathan Ake and poked the ball home from 15 yards.
While City had plenty of options going forward, Pep will be worried by the fact that Daniels was given time and space to smash home a wonderful goal which made them look silly.
Cherries striker Josh King also struck the crossbar with a second half shot and Jermain Defoe was unlucky when he stretched for a volley in the first half only to push it straight to keeper Ederson.
Sterling - with a bit of help from ref Dean - struck late on from a corner to secure a dramatic win for City.
But the ex-Liverpool forward was amazingly given a second yellow card for running over to celebrate with the away fans.
