Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has not given up on signing Virgil van Dijk and Thomas Lemar

ARSENAL have not given up hope of signing Thomas Lemar and Virgil van Dijk - although it might not be until next season they finally complete a move.

Reports are claiming that the Gunners are still interested in the duo, despite knowing that their lnot likely to be anymore arrivals at the Emirates this month.

The Telegraph claim that Arsene Wenger's outfit have made the duo their top targets.

However, they are willing to bide their time until they attempt to bring them to North London.

Wenger has already admitted that a swoop for Monaco winger Lemar is "dead" within this transfer window.

The French side are determined to keep hold of the attacker, but the Premier League giants believe they can complete a deal next summer.

Meanwhile, Wenger is keen on Southampton's wantaway defender Van Dijk.

Chelsea and Liverpool are also interested in the former Celtic ace.

But Wenger is willing to wait for the Dutch international and could launch a move for him in January.
