Adrien Rabiot took to social media via Instagram story where he speaks on camera about the PSG right-back moving to the North London club.

The video shows Marquinhos throwing some dance moves until Rabiot pops up at the end and says: "He's going to Tottenham".

Tottenham were already reported to be close to signing a deal for the 24-year-old defender as he has completed a medical ahead of his £23million transfer.

But the delay's are due to his work permit which has yet to be finalised.

Aurier's right to enter the United Kingdom relates back to his two-month suspended jail sentence last year for assaulting a police officer.

In which he could not enter the UK to play for PSG in the Champions League against Arsenal.

He has appealed against the sentence but is still waiting for an answer.

Aurier started his career at Lens before moving onto Toulouse and then joining PSG in the summer of 2015.

As deadline day approaches, Spurs only have limited time to fully complete the transfer of Serge Aurier.

A need for a right-back will be heightened after Kieran Trippier switched off against Burnley, allowing Chris Wood to fire in a late equaliser.

Spurs have already bolstered their defence this window with the addition of centre-back Davinson Sanchez from Ajax.
