Reds fans thrown into a frenzy as vehicle is seen picking up a passenger arriving on a private jet from the south coast
LIVERPOOL fans are convinced Virgil van Dijk is set to join - as a "club car" was spotted picking up a passenger arriving on a private plane from Bournemouth.
The Southampton centre-back has been looking to force a move away from St Mary's all summer, with Liverpool the most likely to land his signature.
Jurgen Klopp's Reds were on the brink of a £60million move earlier this summer, only for the Anfield giants to be reported for an "illegal approach".
However, with the transfer window getting ready to slam shut later this week, the move could be back on.
Arsenal have been linked with a move for Van Dijk - as part of a swap deal involving Theo Walcott - to bolster their shaky back-line.
But now, images have emerged of what appears to be a Liverpool club car arriving at John Lennon airport to pick up a passenger on a private jet from Bournemouth.
The vehicle - a silver Mercedes - is very similar to one used to ferry summer signings Mohamed Salah and Andrew Robertson from the airport to Melwood.
Now, with Bournemouth being a stone's throw away from Southampton, Reds supporters are adamant the club have finally landed their man.
