The teenage star has impressed the Baggies' boss in his two Premier League starts this season but Tony Pulis wants him to gain more experience at a Championship outfit
WEST BROM'S highly-rated midfielder Sam Field is set for a loan deal to groom him for stardom.
Norwich, Sheffield Wednesday and Bristol City are among a clutch of clubs in the mix to take the Baggies' rising star on a season-long deal.
Field, 19, has been rising through the ranks under boss Tony Pulis and faces a desperate scramble to conclude any deals as he is due to play for England against Holland tonight (Thursday).
The teenager made nine appearances, five of them starts, for West Brom last season and started in both of the Baggies league wins this season.
But Pulis is keen to send the youngster off to a Championship outfit to gain more regular football experience now that he has had a taste of senior football.
The lifelong Baggies fan joined the club's academy at eight years old and went on to sign his first professional contract with the outfit in June 2016.
Field penned a one-year deal with a further 12-month option just after making his international debut with the England Under-18 squad for a two-match tour of South Korea.
In October he was rewarded with a new four-year deal after impressing Pulis in his first two Premier League starts.
