CHELSEA goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois has taken to Instagram to mock his want away team-mate Diego Costa after the striker failed to secure a move away from Stamford Bridge.

The Blues goalkeeper reacted to the news that the Spanish striker will remain in London with a message declaring "He stays".

Courtois took inspiration from Barcelona's Gerard Pique, who posted a similar message regarding Neymar when it seemed he would stay at Barcelona.

Costa has been pushing a move away from the club for a number of months.

This desire to leave the club reemerged after the forward fell out with manager Antonio Conte.

Conte has since revealed that Costa is not in his plans and is free to leave the club if the right fee is paid.

Atletico Madrid were keen to bring the striker back to the Spanish capital but due to the transfer ban placed on the club they failed to bid for the two time Premier League winner.

No other club attempted to sign the player before the window slammed shut on Thursday night.

This means Costa is staying at Chelsea at least till January, he has been included in Chelsea's squad for the season, a fact that Courtois found funny.

He then took to Instagram to copy Gerard Pique's "Se Queda" post towards Neymar in July of this year.
