EDIN TO LA LIGA?

Chelsea transfer news: Eden Hazard casts doubt over Blues future after admitting Real Madrid are ‘the best team in the world’

The Belgian winger, who is on the road to recovery from injury, was also full of praise for Los Blancos boss Zinedine Zidane

EDEN HAZARD has fuelled speculation he is looking to move to Real Madrid by admitting they are "the best team in the world" and gushing over boss Zinedine Zidane.

The Belgian winger, who hasn't appeared for the Blues this season, as he continues his recovery from injury, has been linked with a move to the Spanish champions on numerous occasions in the past.

And in an interview with Spanish newspaper Marca, Hazard did little to dispel rumours that he fancies a crack at La Liga.

He said: "I think at this moment Real Madrid are the best team in the world.

"They have won everything and have good players and a great coach."

His adulation of Zidane didn't end there, however.

He added: "He has won everything both as a player and as a coach. He's a special type.

"Everyone knows about him as a player, when we think of football we think of Zidane because he could do anything on the pitch.

"Even now, off the pitch, he has achieved great things.

"He's magical and I'm very happy to see him on the touchline."

SunSport has previously reported how Hazard could snub Real Madrid and sign a new deal with Chelsea… thanks to his brother Kylian.

The Express claims Zinedine Zidane is renewing his interest Hazard, with the Spanish press repeatedly claiming the Belgian is a favourite of the Galacticos boss.

The 22-year-old will be playing for Chelsea’s development squad this season.

His presence at the club could play a huge part in convincing Hazard to stay put and pen a further contract extension after signing his last one in 2015.

On the prospect of one day playing in La Liga, Hazard refused to rule it out.

He told Marca: "At the moment I'm good in England. I play for one of the best teams, but yes, LaLiga is special.

"Why not? Of course for the moment, I'll stay here."
