West Ham, Bournemouth and Crystal Palace are all yet to win a single point in the Premier League this season… are they as good as relegated already in September?

WEST HAM, Bournemouth and Crystal Palace are all yet to win a single point in the Premier League this season.

The trio are the only teams remaining in the division to lose all three of their opening games.

While it's still very much early days, some fans have already turned on the managers, with Slaven Bilic and Frank De Boer in serious trouble.

But with 35 matches still to go and 105 points to play for, is it too soon to be suggesting the possibility of relegation?

After all, only EIGHT teams in the history of the Premier League have ever gone pointless in four or more games.

West Ham go up against newly-promoted and high-flying Huddersfield at the London Stadium sitting dead-last.

To go with their zero points, the Hammers have also conceded ten goals and scored just twice.

Meanwhile, 19th-placed Crystal Palace haven't even scored a goal this term, while conceding six and will take on Burnley on Sunday.

Bournemouth are sitting in 18th spot, having scored just once to go with their five allowed - but face a tricky trip to Arsenal on Saturday.

With teams knowing that time is already of the essence they will battle it out at least to get a draw.

After all, of the eight teams to go point-less in their first four or more games, HALF of them were relegated.

Swindon in 1993-94, West Ham themselves in 2010-11, Sunderland in 2005-06 and Portsmouth in 2009-10 all succumbed to the drop - with Pompey's dry run reaching SEVEN games.

Back in the present day, while the three clubs aren't dead and buried just yet, they know they need to act quickly to turn their years around.

After all, they're already three points adrift of 16th-place - with that honour going to Arsenal...
