Worth the Keit

RB Leipzig star Naby Keita gave Liverpool fans a taste of what is coming next season with a wonder strike against Hamburg

LIVERPOOL fans will have to wait until next season to see RB Leipzig star Naby Keita in a red shirt.

The Guinea midfielder will move to Anfield next summer for £48million after the Bundesliga side rejected several offers during the summer transfer window.

And the 22-year-old showed the Kop faithful what’s in store for them with a stunning goal in Leipzig’s 2-0 win at Hamburg on Friday evening.

The midfielder strode forward and unleashed a rocket of a shot into the top corner to give Leipzig the lead midway through the second half.

Keita limped off late on with what looked like a groin injury and is a major doubt for Leipzig’s first ever Champions League game against Monaco.

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp who will welcome Keita to Anfield next season and the German coach this week revealed he has been inundated with messages from his homeland about his signing.

He said: “I have contact to a lot of people in the Bundesliga, as you can imagine, and I have never had so many congratulations messages as I had after signing Naby.
