Harry Kane reached his 100th goal for Tottenham 12 games quicker than Thierry Henry did for Arsenal
HARRY KANE put his August woes firmly behind him as he scored twice in Tottenham's brutal dismantling of Everton on Saturday.
The England man continues to prove he loves playing in September en route to a thumping 3-0 win at Goodison Park.
In doing so, Kane notched his 100th goal for Tottenham in all competitions, from just 169 games.
That record of 0.6 goals per game is up there with the all-time greats of the games.
In fact, Spurs star Kane reached the milestone 12 games more quickly than Thierry Henry did at Arsenal.
The French star notched his 100th strike in his 181st game for the Gunners... and we all know what a glittering career he went on to have.
Not only that though, Kane's second goal of the game gave him his 80th Premier League goal, in his 120 games, making him the second-fastest player to the tally.
The only star to reach 80 Prem goals quicker is former Southampton, Blackburn and Newcastle man Alan Shearer (102 games).

Kane reached the tally quicker than Ex-Manchester United star Ruud van Nistelrooy (122), Sergio Aguero (128) and Henry (132).
The Tottenham striker will now be in hot pursuit of the magic 100 Premier League goals tally.
Shearer reached three figures in just 124 games, while Aguero comes in second, reaching three figures from just 147 games.
Should Kane score 20 goals in his next 27 games or less, he would be the new incumbent of the No2 spot.
