The mega-money signings of Bernardo Silva, Kyle Walker, Danilo, Benjamin Mendy and Ederson really caught the eye.

In fact, Man City's squad now cost more to create than ANY other side in Europe's Big Five Leagues.

The £220m net spend pushed their squad value to an eye-popping £775m - even higher than Paris Saint-Germain.

PSG shattered the world record transfer fee to bring Neymar to the French capital from Barcelona for £198m.

But despite that they've been overtaken to the No1 spot, with a squad value of £773m.

Manchester United come in third on £713m, after their £60m spend this summer, with Chelsea - who spent £148m - in fourth, way back on £585m.

Barcelona (£571m) and Real Madrid (£452m) come in fifth and sixth respectively - with the Galacticos even losing £7m in value - with Serie A giants Juventus in seventh on £427m.

Liverpool's big spending this summer, including moves for Mohamed Salah and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain see them sit eighth on £397m - a rise of £74m.

The Reds sit ahead of North London duo Arsenal (£378m) and Tottenham (£328m) who complete the top ten.

Elsewhere in the top 20, Everton and Crystal Palace sit amongst giants including Bayern Munich, AC Milan and Borussia Dortmund.
