WAYNE ROONEY dumped himself in hot water earlier this month when he was arrested for drink-driving.
The Everton footballer, 31, also got himself into trouble with wife Coleen after he allegedly "kissed and cuddled" Laura Simpson on a night out.
The move forced Coleen to remove her wedding ring... but Wayne continued to sport his as the Toffees flew out to Italy for their Europa League clash with Atalanta.
Rooney - who has not yet been convicted of any wrongdoing - is by no means the only footballer to get himself into trouble with the law, though.
In fact, football stars are more likely to commit a crime than ANY other type of sports player, according to research from Ticketgum.
When it comes to driving offences in sport, footballers are notorious... accounting for over HALF of all such crimes at 52 per cent.
Of all crimes committed by footballers, nearly a quarter of them (23 per cent) come behind the wheel.
Of those motoring convictions, 43 per cent of those are caused by football stars under the influence of alcohol - such as Liverpool star Roberto Firmino earlier this year.

Of all assault charges brought on sports star, 31 per cent went to footballers, to go with 23 per cent of all frauds and 21 per cent of all sex crimes.
Footballers also accounted for nine per cent of all sporting thefts, six per cent of murder and manslaughter cases, to go with six per cent of drug offences.
In other sports, cricketers were the worst for fraud cases, accounting for 38 per cent, while darts stars were involved in an horrendous 83 per cent of all assault charges.
