ROMELU LUKAKU had already rubbed salt in the wounds of Everton's supporters at Old Trafford - and he had full confidence Anthony Martial could add further misery in injury-time.
The big Belgian loved his first appearance against his old employers since his £75million switch from Goodison to Manchester United in the summer.
He and his Red Devils team-mates inflicted more misery on the Toffees as a late surge secured them a 4-0 victory on Sunday.
And the 24-year-old seemed intent on silencing the away supporters, who once adored him, at every available opportunity.
After teeing up Henrikh Mkhitaryan for the second he turned to the away end with a finger to his lips.
He then cupped his ears in their direction after making it 3-0 - an action he later described as just being "banter".
But he kept something else up his sleeve as he saved the best until last.
In the dying moments United were awarded a spot-kick after Morgan Schneiderlin had handled in the area, allowing Martial the opportunity to add a fourth.

Lukaku, who missed from 12 yards against Leicester last time out at the Theatre of Dreams, was happy to hand over the responsibility to the Frenchman.
And he was that sure that his colleague would score, replays showed that he already had his arms aloft in celebration as Martial strode forward to convert - before the attacker had even connected with the ball.
Luckily for Lukaku the ex-Monaco man made no mistake and he was able to get another over the Blues faithful, who had booed their former frontman throughout the clash.
But if there was one other thing that Lukaku did ensure yesterday was a hot reception to kick-off the new year.
Everton fans are unlikely to forget his antics, and they will be ready to unleash a barrage of hostility when he returns to Merseyside with Jose Mourinho's side on January 1.
