Arsene Wenger has steered Arsenal to more points than Jose Mourinho, Jurgen Klopp and Mauricio Pochettino at their clubs over the past 100 league games
ARSENE WENGER seems to have spent the last decade under increasing pressure at Arsenal.
Having not won the league title since the "Invincibles" season of 2003-04, the French boss faced protest after protest in 2016-17, with fans calling for his head.
Gunners supporters were mostly left exasperated, as despite their pleas, the Arsenal board handed Wenger a new two-year contract.
Most thought the club to be delusional, but in truth, Wenger has more than justified the deal.
After all, through his last 100 league games, Wenger has earned more points than Jose Mourinho and Jurgen Klopp - as well as having a better win record than Mauricio Pochettino.
You don't hear Manchester United, Liverpool and Tottenham fans calling for their boss' head.
During the 100-game run, Wenger has picked up an admirable 197 points - nearly two per game - level with Poch.
However, the Arsenal man has won two more matches than the Spurs chief to give himself the marginally better record.
