Pep Guardiola reveals he has no plans to manage beyond age of 70 like Roy Hodgson
Guardiola doesn't want to manage when he gets older as Manchester City boss prepares for Crystal Palace
PEP GUARDIOLA insists he has no plans to still be managing when he hits 70.
But he has backed Roy Hodgson - the oldest man ever appointed by a Premier League club - to turn things round at Selhurst Park.
The ex-England chief has taken on a huge task with a team who have no points and no goals from five matches.
Asked if he would still be a boss at that age, Pep said: "Definitely not. I promise you. I love golf. But I admire him.
"He's had a long career and i respect that.
"I love the people who stay there for a long time. They have ups and downs, success and not success, and they keep going, because of their passion.
"I admire him at 70 to have the energy to put in front of the players, to prepare for the games, have the adrenalin to know what's going to happen.
"He's been with England, Switzerland. For a long time, he was the England team’s national coach, so that’s good."
