EVERTON are eyeing Bournemouth star Josh King as they look for a new Romelu Lukaku.

Club spies think the tall Norwegian could make up for the loss of Lukaku to Manchester United, which has blighted the Toffees’ start to the campaign.

King, 25, is proving himself a Prem striker after starting his career with  United before a spell at  Blackburn, and hit the opener in Saturday’s 2-1 defeat at Everton.

The £20million-rated star was linked with Tottenham last season as competition for Harry Kane.

Everton boss Ronald Koeman wants a versatile forward to add pace to his attack  and King has all of those qualities.

Everton are scouting Europe for other candidates and have some of Lukaku’s £75million transfer fee  left.

Romania striker Florin Andone is in the frame and the Toffees have asked Deportivo La Coruna about him.

Meanwhile Oumar Niasse can still leave Goodison, despite scoring in the midweek Carabao Cup win over Sunderland, and twice in the comeback win against the Cherries yesterday.

The striker, 27, was wanted by Crystal Palace and Brighton in the summer but the cost of extras in the deal stopped the move.

And Bournemouth’s top spy Richard Hughes is tracking West Brom striker Tyler Roberts, 18, and there could be an offer in the next window.
