Tottenham star Harry Kane overtakes Arsenal legend Thierry Henry with his derby double in Premier League win at West Ham

WHEN it comes to London derbies there is no-one more prolific than Tottenham's Harry Kane - and that is a fact.

The England striker continued his fine form in capital clashes on Saturday lunchtime.

Kane, 24, scored two against West Ham at the London Stadium to help his side claim local bragging rights in their 3-2 victory.

However, it was not only the points that the forward claimed.

His double took him ahead of Arsenal legend Thierry Henry as the most deadly London derby goalscorer in Premier League history.

Kane's tally against teams from the capital now stands at 21 in 29 matches.

And his efforts against the Hammers took his ratio to a goal every 113 minutes in derbies, nudging him ahead of Henry's 114 minutes per strike ratio against neighbours.

Gunners icon Henry does still have one thing over his rival - although he could lose this too should Kane keep up his impressive ratio.

Henry still remains the all-time top goalscoring king of London with a record of 43 in 59 games.

Kane will be hoping to take a step closer to that tally when Crystal Palace head to Wembley to take on Spurs on November 5.

Although he failed to find the target in August, Kane has hit the ground running this month and has found the net seven times in his last six appearances.
