WEST HAM are lining up a January move for SPAL defender Francesco Vicari, according to reports.

West Ham scouts were in attendance last week at the San Siro to run the rule over the 23-year-old defender in the defeat at Milan on Wednesday.
The former Italy under-21 international is playing in his first season in Serie A after helping SPAL secure promotion last season.
