Harry Kane has hit the woodwork five times in the Premier League in 2017-18… more than any other TEAM combined
Spurs have hit the bar or post five times so far this season, all from Kane, with no other side notching more than four
HARRY KANE has put his August blues behind him and is back to his usual best, having scored four times in Tottenham's first six Premier League games.
The England man, 24, scored twice in the nervy 3-2 thriller away to West Ham on Saturday.
But Kane could have had a hat-trick after his superb, curling free-kick struck the foot of the post, before hitting the upright again after Joe Hart tipped away his low drive.
It summed up the Spurs man's season - as Kane has now hit the woodwork FIVE times in the 2017-18 team alone.
So bonkers is Kane's bad luck that he has now hit the post or bar more times than all other 19 TEAMS in the Premier League.
Tottenham have struck the woodwork five times in 2017-18 so far, all from Kane attempts, while no other team tops four.
Chelsea, West Ham and Manchester United are the next most frustrated teams, all seeing efforts rattle the post or bar four times this term.
Southampton, Liverpool and Brighton have all struck the woodwork three times, to Crystal Palace - still goalless in the league this season - and Bournemouth's two.
