Manchester United should sign Barcelona’s ex-Liverpool star Luis Suarez, insists Gary Neville
MANCHESTER UNITED should try and sign former Liverpool striker Luis Suarez, says club legend Gary Neville.
Despite Jose Mourinho's side making a flying start to the Premier League, they have 16 points from their first six games and are unbeaten, Neville would love one more addition.
Speaking to Stretty News TV, Neville, who currently works for Sky Sports, said: "Suarez, even though he played for Liverpool, is a United player.
“It’s arrogance to say that but he’s fantastic. He scores goals, he’s aggressive, he chases every ball down.”
It's not known how well his comments will go down with the United faithful, as they have a fierce rivalry with their big city rivals Liverpool.
Suarez played 110 games for the Merseysiders, netting 69 goals in a three-year stint.
Paul Pogba remains injured, as do long-term pair Marcos Rojo and Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
