LIVERPOOL Under-192 star Bobby Adekanye was allegedly racially abused during a clash with Spartak Moscow.
The Reds have made a formal complaint to Uefa following the apparent incident in a Youth League match in Russia.
Teenage winger Bobby Adekanye - Nigerian-born Dutch youth international - is alleged to have been abused from the stands after coming on as a 59th-minute substitute.
Reds academy director Alex Inglethorpe is among the staff who are understood to have witnessed the chants.
Coach Steven Gerrard saw his side beaten 2-1 in Moscow in the Tuesday afternoon clash.
There were no incidents reported by the Reds from their Champions League draw with Spartak's senior side later on the same day.
Reds boss Jurgen Klopp said there was “a really good atmosphere” at the stadium.
But the Russians are facing three Uefa charges after supporters unveiled a banner that read ‘Uefa Mafia’.

The charges also relate to blocked stairways, fans letting off smoke bombs to celebrate Fernando putting them in front and "illicit chants" - aimed at the governing body, not players.
Spartak were fined £60,000 and had their fans banned their game at at Sevilla after a flare was fired towards the referee as they drew with Maribor.
