Romelu Lukaku, Kylian Mbappe, Paulo Dybala… the top 20 players in Europe to see their transfer value increase this summer
THE summer transfer window was truly bonkers, with Neymar shattering the world-record transfer fee in his £198million move to Paris Saint-Germain.
The former Barcelona man set the tone, but a host of stars swapped clubs for astounding sums of money.
With transfer fees on the rise, we take a look at which players have seen their value rise since July, according to stats from the CIES Football Observatory.
Taking into a host of factors, including player age, club, appearances, contract length and international caps, the numbers suggest a number of stars have even DOUBLED in value.
In the No1 spot, having seen his approximate transfer fee rise by nearly £50m, is Manchester United star Romelu Lukaku.
The Belgian ace has seen his transfer fee go from £90.8m to an incredible £140m - a boost of £49.2m.
PSG star Kylian Mbappe saw a £44.5m rise in his transfer value, as he is set to move to Paris permanently next summer, following his loan move in the last window.
Another European superstar, Paulo Dybala, has seen his transfer value go up by more than £40m - at £41.8m - up to a staggering £142.3m.

Borussia Dortmund superstar Ousmane Dembele (£39.8m) and Liverpool ace Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain (£28m) complete the top five players to see their value rise.
Even Neymar - despite his £198m price-tag - has seen his value rise by £25.1m to in excess of £200m.
Premier League trio Marcus Rashford (£23.6m), Kevin De Bruyne (£22.6m) and Mohamed Salah (£22.3m) also sit in the top ten, with wonderkid Gianluigi Donnarumma in at No10 (£22.2m).
Other English top flight players include Chelsea duo Antonio Rudiger and Alvaro Morata, as well as Manchester City new-boys Benjamin Mendy and Kyle Walker.
Liverpool's Georginio Wijnaldum and Manchester United's Paul Pogba also crack the top 20.
