Chelsea join Alexis Sanchez transfer race with Arsenal ace also being targeted by Man City and PSG
Reports claim Premier League champs will enter running for contract rebel when January transfer window opens
CHELSEA have reportedly entered the race to sign Alexis Sanchez in January.
The Mirror claims Manchester City and Paris Saint-Germain are already lining up moves for the Arsenal star.
But it’s now said that Chelsea are in the running too as they look to keep apparent AC Milan target Antonio Conte at Stamford Bridge.
Sanchez is out of contract at the end of the season and has given Arsenal no reason to believe he’s willing to extend his deal.
The Chilean missed out on a deadline day move to City, and although he’ll be a free agent next summer, there’s every chance Sanchez could move mid-way through the campaign.
Chelsea are reckoned to be keen in order to lure Conte into signing his own new contract after Italian giants Milan were linked with his signature.
The former Juventus don landed a massive pay rise after guiding the Blues to another Premier League title, but he did not extend his stay past 2019.
The Mirror also claims that Chelsea are also ready to launch a new bid for Juve left-back Alex Sandro.
The Brazilian rejected a move to Stamford Bridge during the last transfer window.
But his current employers may find it hard to resist a £60million bid should one land on their desk in January.
