Manchester United ace Daley Blind could make switch to Fenerbahce in January
Dutch defender has been forced out of the team at Old Trafford with Matteo Darmian and Ashley Young both ahead of him in Jose Mourinho's plans. Now Turkish club have shown an interest in a mid-season move.
DALEY BLIND could be handed a route out of Manchester United by Fenerbahce.
Blind has found himself out of the first team picture at Old Trafford despite starting the first three matches of the season.
But since then he has played just one minute of Premier League football after falling behind Matteo Darmian and Ashley Young in Jose Mourinho's plans.
And Talksport say Turkish side Fenerbahce are considering making a bid to sign him when the transfer window opens in January.
It has been suggested that Blind is growing increasingly frustrated at his lack of opportunities in the United matchday squad.
And the 27-year-old is also concerned his lack of match action could damage his chances of being in the Holland squad should they qualify for the World Cup next summer.
Blind became a key player for Mourinho last season as injuries gripped the United defensive options for large periods of the campaign.
His willingness to fill in wherever he was asked, and a consistent level of displays, also went down well with the United supporters.
But with Phil Jones and Eric Bailly emerging as the clear partnership in central defence, with Chris Smalling and Victor Lindelof understudies, Blind knows the left side is his best chance of playing.
But Darmian and more recently Young have been the preferred option in that role for Mourinho - leaving Blind getting a run-out in the Carabao Cup.

Now he faces a decision whether to stay at United for the entire season and hope for a change of fortunes, or seek a move elsewhere in January.
Much may depend on how the Dutch get through their final World Cup qualifiers over the next few days.
Blind is part of Dick Advocaat's squad for the two crucial qualifiers against Belarus and Sweden with a place at Russia 2018 at stake.
Holland have to win both matches to have a chance of making the play-offs, lying four points adrift of group leaders France and three behind the Swedes in second place.
If they beat bottom nation Belarus on Saturday, their final Group A match in Amsterdam next Tuesday against Sweden could be a winner-takes-all affair.
