John Terry puts Harry Kane in bracket with Cristiano Ronaldo, Lionel Messi, Zinedine Zidane and Ronaldo as ‘definitely one of the very best I have ever played against’
HARRY KANE is one of the best footballers ex-England and Chelsea captain John Terry ever played against.
With the Blues and Three Lions, Terry played against some of the greatest players of modern times, including Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo, Zinedine Zidane and Brazil legend Ronaldo.
Kane booked the Three Lions a place at the 2018 World Cup in Russia with a last-gasp goal against Slovenia on Thursday night.
In 13 competitive England games, Kane has scored six goals and become one of the shining lights during a dark period for the national side and The FA.
Last season, across 41 appearances for club and country, the marksman scored a brilliant 38 goals.
Prior to that he enjoyed another prolific campaign with 32 from 64 and those two brilliant hauls came after slow starts in goal-less Augusts.
This season, Kane suffered another summer slump with no goals in
the opening month but Sept 1 marked the start of his season and he now has 14 goals in just 36 days.
And Terry – currently extending his career with a stint in the Championship with Aston Villa – rates the White Hart Lane hero as one of the best of his generation.
