England women’s star Toni Duggan shares picture with Lionel Messi at Barca training
Former Manchester City ace described meeting the Argentine legend and new club mate as a 'dream come true'
ENGLAND women's star Toni Duggan said it was a "dream come true" to meet new club pal Lionel Messi.
Duggan left Manchester City for Barcelona Femeni in July.
And she looks to have settled in quickly, with the Nou Camp legend happy to share a picture with her.
The winger, 26, uploaded a picture to social media, captioned: "Little pic with the fella from work... #Wow #TheGreatest #DreamComeTrue"
Duggan became the first English player to sign for Barca since Gary Lineker in 1986, and is the only member of the national team playing abroad.
And she has been quick off the mark, scoring twice in five appearances as the Blaugranes romp to the top of the league on goal difference.
Duggan admitted the Catalan club's "attractive" playing style was the reason for her move.
She said: "Barcelona are known all over the world for playing attractive football and I naturally wanted to be part of that.
"I think my style of play will suit the team and I'm honoured to be part of the club.
"My new coach, Fran Sanchez, has told me that their ambition is to win the Women's Champions League and the club have made that very clear with their signings over the years.

"I want to help my team mates to achieve that ambition.
"I've had a lot of success in England and I've really enjoyed my time with Man City, but I wanted to challenge myself even further by playing abroad.
"Barcelona are one of the world's biggest clubs and I've totally bought into their philosophy.
"I'm also looking forward to learning Spanish and living in the city."
Duggan scored 31 goals in 74 appearances for City following her move from hometown club Everton in 2013, who she spent six years at.
She has scored 15 goals in 47 England appearances.
