THEO WALCOTT and Danny Welbeck hope to put the heat on Watford in the Premier League this Saturday - by first freezing in a cryotherapy chamber.
The fit-again frontrunners aim to become regulars for fifth-placed Arsenal, not least to boost their hopes of making England's squad for next summer's World Cup finals.
Walcott would seem to have the tougher job with both club and country as Prem action returns following the international break.
And it was the former Southampton flier who posted the icy Instagram snap of the duo in woolly hats and using breathing gear.
Such chambers have become increasngly popular in the top flight as players strive for an edge in both regaining and retaining peak fitness.
Walcott wrote with his photo: "Dr. Freezing in the cryo with @DannyWelbeck".
The 28-year-old added snowflake emojis to complete what he hopes will be a chilling warning for the Hornets, who are just a point below the Gunners after seven games.
Walcott has been linked with his former club, the Saints, in recent weeks, as Arsenal look for summer buy Alexandre Lacazette to provide their main threat alongside Chile superstar Alexis Sanchez.

But goals and stars for the Gunners are surely the best way for Walcott to force his way back into Gareth Southgate's plans for Russia 2018.
Walcott, who also posted a thumbs-up snap with Arsenal keeper Petr Cech, must be encouraged to have already netted three times this term.
But, despite missing out on a transfer deadline move to Manchester City, Walcott's striking rival Sanchez might now be hungrier than ever to shine.
Chile have just missed out on qualifying for the World Cup finals so Sanchez is only left with the domestic game for glory this term.
That will be cold comfort to Walcott and Welbeck, for all their efforts in the chilly chamber.
Meanwhile, Gunners midfielders Mesut Ozil and Francis Coquelin should be fit to return with Welbeck this Saturday.
