West Ham transfer news: Hammers to rival Everton for former Watford manager Walter Mazzarri

WALTER MAZZARRI could be in line for a shock return to management in the Premier League with TWO clubs eyeing him.
The former Watford boss was sacked at the end of last season, but is now being lined up by West Ham and Everton after their poor start to the campaign.
According to Italian news outlet Corriere dello Sport, both the Hammers and Toffees view him as a 'safe pair of hands'.
The London side sit in 15th spot after seven games, while the Merseyside outfit - level on seven points with West Ham - occupy 16th place.
Slaven Bilic's men have won two out of their last four Premier League fixtures - keeping three clean sheets in the process.
The report states that while Bilic's job is safe for now, if results turn sour once again, then the former Inter Milan gaffer will be high on their list of targets.
While Ronald Koeman's men have been hugely disappointing after spending big in the summer - bringing in the likes of Wayne Rooney, Gylfi Sigurdsson, Michael Keane, Jordan Pickford and Davy Klaassen.
They have only won once in their last six top-flight encounters, with boos ringing round Goodison Park after they lost 1-0 against Burnley before the international break.
Earlier this month, SunSport reported how Everton sounded out Mazzarri as a potential successor to the Dutchman currently in charge.
Mazzarri managed to keep the Hornets in the Premier League last season, but they only just about survived as they finished in 17th place.
