Jurgen Klopp to block Liverpool teen sensation Rhian Brewster leaving as rival clubs circle for loan deal
Reds manager wants the England Under-17 star to develop at Anfield - with winger Lazar Markovic and centre-back Lloyd Jones the Reds' only likely movers in January
JURGEN KLOPP will block a loan exit for Liverpool teen ace Rhian Brewster.
The striker, 17, has been superb for England Under-17s in the World Cup finals, with several clubs keen on a short deal.
But boss Klopp will not let Brewster go, even though his first-team chances are slim.
Winger Lazar Markovic and centre-half Lloyd Jones are the only likely movers in January.
Brewster has hopes of making his Premier League debut for the Reds this season.
And that dream looked a little more realistic when he curled home a 35-yard free-kick opener for the Lions cubs against Mexico in midweek.
That booked England's spot in the World Cup last-16 with one game to spare.
Manchester City midfielder Phil Foden's left-footer and Borussia Dortmund winger Jadon Sancho's penalty put the Lion cubs 3-0 up by the 55th minute.

But Mexico caused late tremors after netting twice before England held on.
Brewster, who has made Liverpool's Champions League squad this term, insists he is happy to develop under Klopp this term.
The teenager told the Liverpool Echo last month: “He’s always said to me ‘make sure you enjoy yourself, that’s the main thing'.
“Obviously being young, if you enjoy yourself then you’ll play better because you’re happy and you’re confident.
“He’s always said ‘enjoy yourself and be yourself’, basically. Get on the ball and keep moving and always work hard, so that’s what I try to do every day now.”
