Kylian Hazard scores first Chelsea goal after becoming second brother of Eden to play for the Blues after Thorgan
KYLIAN HAZARD – the younger brother of Chelsea star Eden – scored with his first touch for the Blues’ under-23 side on Friday night.
On a weekend to forget for the Stamford Bridge side – following their shock defeat to basement boys Crystal Palace – the summer signing had a day to remember.
In a 3-1 defeat at home to Swansea City on Friday night the Belgian attacking midfielder netted within a minute of coming on as a second-half sub.
Kylian moved to Stamford Bridge from Hungarian club Ujpest as the third member of the Hazard family to play for the Blues, after Thorgan spent three years at the club between 2012-15.
Jacob Maddox had crossed deep to Trevoh Chalobah and his header was palmed into the path of Hazard by Swansea goalkeeper Erwin Mulder.
The grateful 22-year-old could hardly miss and tapped in for the consolation strike.
Eden Hazard admitted in September that he asked Antonio Conte to sign his second sibling despite knowing he is not good enough to play for the first team.
He said: “He wanted a new challenge.

“I asked if maybe the manager could do something for him and they did.
“He’s not with first team because it’s too early and he’s not good enough yet but I hope one day I get to play with him.”
Chelsea also had Micky Hazard playing for them in the 1980s but the Sunderland-born ex-Tottenham man is no relation.
The summer transfer window was one the craziest we have ever seen.
